HEAT PUMPS
Heat pumps can also be an interesting solution for taking advantage of
renewable forms of energy. They function
like a refrigerator in reverse and extract energy from the surrounding environment
(air, water, ground) to turn it into heat.
Heat pumps can serve as an energy source for heating (low temperature), or for heating domestic water. There are different types of systems to be chosen in accordance with the situation of the house.
HEAT RECOVERY STOVES
People who like to heat with wood stoves might find it interesting to install a heat recovery system. Some 80% of the heat from a fire is actually lost with the smoke!
A heat recovery stove can be connected as the main or a secondary source of energy for your heating system.
